Training
We can help you to get involved in training that’s on offer. We then help you to use the skills you learn. Those who get involved feel that this is a real benefit to them.

We can support you if you want to go on short ½ day sessions or longer courses. Our aim is to help you to benefit from taking part in Swanswell’s service user activities.

Events and workshops
Service users regularly represent Swanswell at events locally, regionally and nationally. By coming to events, you can have your say and influence important decisions. You can also find out useful information that you then share amongst other service users through meetings, newsletters and other forums.

There are also Swanswell roadshows and workshops open to you, where you can participate in delivering training to others and helping to promote service user involvement. These events are useful for getting information, sharing experiences and offering a view that reflects service users. This sort if involvement benefits other people who have previously used Swanswell’s services.

Discussion groups and meetings
The groups and meetings can be the backbone for getting together, getting involved in training and in the development of projects. They are also a chance for you to hear about events, roadshows and more.

Who can get involved in the groups / meetings?

You can get involved in the groups / meetings if you:

• use Swanswell services at the moment
• have used Swanswell services in the recent past
• are a service user advocate
