Service user involvement

Getting involved
At Swanswell, we know that service users can help us to develop and improve our services and firmly believe in listening to your views. We would like to hear from you if you or a family member are currently using Swanswell’s services, have used them in the past or if you are an advocate for someone using our services.

You can choose to get involved in a variety of ways. This could include giving your opinions about the sort of help you think you need from Swanswell workers, completing surveys or suggesting improvements to our services. You can also suggest ideas about new services, join group meetings, speak at events and deliver training. You could even
put yourself forward to be a member of our Board of Trustees.

What’s in it for you?
The benefits to you are that you can:

  • gain new skills
  • get access to accredited training
  • get experience or use your existing experience
  • get involved in a social activity
  • do something you have always wanted to do
  • meet new people
  • keep busy
  • change things for the future
  • help others
